  • herding breeds are highly sensitive to toxins such as heart worm medication, flea & tick medication, pesticides on grass are sucked up through dogs paws. All this is believed to contribute to a shorter life span nowadays. they used to live 15-16 years and now 9-11 years.

  • we have the multi dog resistant gene (MDR1) which only measures proteins, but what were finding is there’s a whole host of other veterinarian treatments that cause a swelling in the central nervous system (Flagil/ methennitazol prescribed to puppies for diarhia). It’s never okay to give an aussie Ivermectin.

  • vaccinations (puppies are being over vaccinated): follow Dr. Renolds Shultz’ protocol and Gene Dodd. only do core vaccines at 10, 14 and 18 weeks. the vaccine at 18 weeks, after maternal antibodies sure to be dissipated, is good for 15 years. Then do Titers every 3-5 years.
